With the beginning of a new year, I am reminded of beginnings and all things being new. I am reminded of creation.

God created all things, the planets, the earth; light and darkness; the animals and man. God told man to name all the creations. Adam still being lonely, God created Eve. As Eve was introduced to Adam, he thought, “WO MAN! Isn’t that a beautiful sight!” Hence the naming of the creation "WOMAN.” LOL.

Who knows what the thought was in Adams mind when he first saw Eve, but as each of us first see that individual which brings a twinkle to our eye and makes our hearts go pitter-patter, aren’t the words "WO MAN" going through our head?

How often do you recognize the miracles of life? Your life is just that, A MIRACLE. We frequently desire to have miracles happen in our life, either as a confirmation that God exists, or just because we are not happy with our situation. But do we recognize the miracles as they happen?

Day and night are markers of the miracles around us. Sunrise is the miracle in which we are able to share another day with those in our life. Sunset is the miracle in which we were able to survive another day and calm our minds in peace. Many times we do not recognize the fact that we are still alive today and able to create new memories with those that we love. It is a blessing in which we have received, THE GIFT OF ANOTHER DAY...

Ephesians 5:20 -- Giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.

2 Corinthians 4:15 --  For all things are for your sakes, that grace, having spread through the many, may cause thanksgiving to abound to the glory of God.

Be thankful for the beginning of a new day, and all that God got you through today. And most of all remember to appreciate the miraculous memories you have received from God to warm your heart. In times of depression we need to reflect back on some of the most amazing moments and memories in our life to remember, “They haven’t all been bad, and there will be other amazing memories which will come in our life to look forward to...and then to be able to say WO MAN! What a rush.”
