Jimmy Martin was a little boy who wanted to meet God. He knew it was a long trip to where God lived, so he packed his suitcase with Twinkies and a six-pack of root beer, opened the front door, and started his journey.

When he had gone about three blocks, he met an old woman. She was sitting in the park just staring at some pigeons. The boy sat down next to her and opened his suitcase.

He was about to take a drink from his root beer when he noticed that the old lady looked hungry, so he offered her a Twinkie. She gratefully accepted it and smiled at him. Her smile was so pretty that the boy wanted to see it again, so he offered her a root beer.

Once again, she smiled at him. Jimmy Martin was delighted! They sat there all afternoon eating and smiling, but they never said a word.

As it grew dark, Jimmy Martin realized how tired he was and he got up to leave, but before he had gone more than a few steps; he turned around, ran back to the old woman, and gave her a hug. She gave him her biggest smile ever.

When he opened the door to his own house a short time later; his mother was surprised by the look of joy on his face.

She asked him:

"What did you do today that made you so happy?"

He replied:

"I had lunch with God."

But before his mother could respond, he added:

"You know what? She's got the most beautiful smile I've ever seen!"

Meanwhile, the old woman, also radiant with joy, returned to her home. Her son was stunned by the look of peace on her face and he asked:

"Mother, what did you do today that made you so happy?"

She replied:

"I ate Twinkies in the park with God."

But before her son responded, she added:

"You know, He's much younger than I expected."

God shows himself in mysterious ways. He could show himself through a senior, a child, an animal or even someone unexpected that you could judge unfairly. Don't judge anyone and don't miss the message.

My son is a very busy person; a full time college student, a full time employee workin graveyards, and a sergeant for the army reserve. He has the faith of a mustard seed, beginning to slowly sprout. Recently he was stressed and selling one of his text books. He had a call from a young man which later showed up at his door. My son opened his door and drew the conclusion that the young man was probably a drug addict. The young man started asking my son some questions about himself and told my son, "Wow! you sound like you have your life in order," and probably something like your under a lot of stress...I'm not sure exactly what else was said. My son said this young man was spot on, and there was no way he should have known these things. And then the young man asked my son if he could pray with him. The prayer expressed all of concerns.

My son is always waiting to see a miracle in his life as proof of the existence of God, and he told me he saw this as his miracle.

John 8:15 -- "You judge according to the flesh, I am not judging anyone."

1 Peter 2:21 -- For to this you have been called, because Christ also suffered for you, leaving you an example, so that you might follow in his steps.

1 Corinthians 11:1 -- Be imitators of me, as I am of Christ.

Each of us are to be representative of God. It is so easy to place judgement and then miss the point or the miracle.
