Preschool Prayers
July 31, 2024Getting children Ready for Prayer:
Introducing Prayer to children can be challenging, but interestingly enough they enjoy them by utilizing upbeat short prayers which are fun. There are many short prayers which have used with my class. The first challenge is to get them quiet and ready for prayer. I begin by singing this with my class to prepare them for prayer.
Are you ready (to the tune of “Frère Jacques”):
Are you ready,
Are you ready,
Fold your hands,
Quiet please,
Show me that your ready,
Show me that your ready.
Fold your hands,
Quiet please,
